On October 14th, an annular eclipse will be seen, partially (about 30%), on Beaver Island, cloud cover permitting. It will begin about 11 a.m. and go until about 2 p.m. Glasses for viewing will be available at the Library.

Participate in the the Citizen Science, surrounding this event. We will be recording temperatures and more. Download the GLOBE app on your phone or device to participate. At the Library we will have an official thermometer upon which to record the temperatures as the eclipse progresses.
